1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using CardGrading.app ("the Service"), operated by Productbox Labs Pty Ltd ("we", "our", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

CardGrading.app provides AI-powered trading card grade predictions. The Service analyzes photographs of trading cards and provides estimated grades based on visual analysis of centering, corners, edges, and surface condition.

3. AI Predictions Disclaimer

Our grade predictions are generated by artificial intelligence and are estimates only. AI technology is inherently imperfect and may make mistakes. Our predictions do not constitute official grades from PSA (Professional Sports Authenticator), BGS (Beckett Grading Services), CGC (Certified Guaranty Company), or any other professional grading company. Actual grades from professional grading services may differ significantly from our predictions.

You acknowledge and agree that:

  • AI predictions are approximate estimates and should not be treated as definitive or guaranteed grades
  • AI may produce inaccurate, inconsistent, or unreliable results
  • Predictions should not be used as the sole basis for purchasing, selling, valuing, or insuring trading cards
  • You should always consult a professional grading service for official authentication and grading
  • We make no representations or warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any prediction

4. No Affiliation

CardGrading.app and Productbox Labs Pty Ltd are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or in any way officially connected to Professional Sports Authenticator (PSA), Beckett Grading Services (BGS), Certified Guaranty Company (CGC), or any other professional grading company. Any references to these companies or their grading scales are for informational purposes only. PSA®, BGS®, and CGC® are registered trademarks of their respective owners. Pokemon is a trademark of Nintendo/Creatures Inc./GAME FREAK Inc.

5. User Accounts

To use the Service, you must create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. Users under 18 must have parental consent.

6. Free Trial and Credits

New users receive 3 free scans upon registration (1 grade, 1 price check, 1 bulk scan). Additional credits may be purchased through credit packs (one-time purchases).

7. Purchases, Billing, and Refunds

Credit Packs: One-time purchases that add prediction credits to your account. Credits from packs do not expire.

Subscriptions: Recurring billing on a monthly or annual basis. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period.

All purchases are processed through our third-party payment processor (Stripe). Prices are in US Dollars.

30-Day Money-Back Guarantee: If you are not satisfied with your subscription, you may request a full refund within 30 days of your initial purchase, provided that no subscription scans have been used. Refunds are issued less Stripe's payment processing fees (approximately 2.9% + $0.30 of the original charge). If scans have been used, refund eligibility is assessed at our discretion. 8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the AI models
  • Scrape, crawl, or automate access to the Service
  • Share account credentials with third parties
  • Upload images that are not trading cards
  • Misrepresent AI predictions as official grades

9. Intellectual Property and Data Use

The Service, including its AI models, software, design, and content, is owned by Productbox Labs Pty Ltd and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of images you upload but grant us a limited license to process them for prediction purposes.

We may use anonymised and aggregated grading data for research, product improvement, and partnerships with third-party services. See our Privacy Policy for details on how data is shared with partners.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of grade predictions. AI technology may produce errors, and predictions should not be relied upon as the sole basis for any financial decision regarding trading cards.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Productbox Labs Pty Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to losses resulting from reliance on AI predictions. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Modifications to Terms and Service

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification.

We also reserve the right to modify, add, suspend, or discontinue any feature or aspect of the Service at any time without prior notice. Features available at the time of subscription may change during your subscription period. We are not liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of features.

13. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at our discretion for violation of these terms. Upon termination, unused purchased credits will be refunded on a pro-rata basis.

14. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria, Australia.
